Its been a year already

Hi readers.

I just thought I would interrupt the flow of informative or silly blog articles to post a little about how we are doing.

Its been just over a year since the new owners (Tim and I) got hold of Leisure Pursuits and we are pleased to say that we are very happy with how it has gone.

Although the old owner, Mark, always kept the vehicles well maintained, we have made sure they are cleaned, maintained and spruced up at regular intervals meaning that the vehicles are performing better than ever.

The new site has given us a chance to really let our hair down (Well my hair down, Tim hasn’t got any) when it comes to the courses. We now have dedicated days to course invention/ upgrades to make sure they never stop being exciting, for you or our staff.

And talking of the new land, we have managed to get lots of facilities erected including a barn to store the vehicles, a briefing room in the form of a stationary double decker bus, toilets and more.

The website is well on its way to being complete with more details and pictures being added frequently. With the new Twitter/ Facebook page we can now talk to you, and give away events in our competitions giving us a direct link to those who come to us.

Grizzly, our American Spec monster truck has had a huge amount of TLC. Tim has given it a new Axle, Engine, and a polish and we are happy to say that it is performing brilliantly.

Of course there is a long way to go. We want to build more courses, get new vehicles, have a bigger website, and so on. But so far, we are happy with the way the last year (and a bit) has gone.
